Create/Edit Timetable

To make a new SeniorNet Nelson Timetable

• Create a new timetable in Word from scratch,

OR copy and paste the current version from the SeniorNet Nelson website into Word.

• Modify/Add new information
• Copy and paste to the Timetable article in the backend of the website
• Strip all the format inside the table – highlight all > click Remove Format icon in JCE Editor.
• Reformat

Formatting for the Timetable at present

• Width: 689px (at moment) Height: 1412px
• Columns 6.  Rows: e.g.40
• Alignment: Not set
• Cell spacing: 0
• Border: 1
• Border colour: #008080 (Teal)
• Background: #f0ffff (Azure)
• Month background: #008080 (Teal). Month font colour: White
• (NOTE: Hex colour numbers can be copied and pasted into the Advanced Tab)
• Headings: Main Heading 2 (in capitals)
• Top Line Arial 8pt

NB – There is a plug-in "Tabulizer" to make creating tables in Joomla easier. It is a paid extension that enables you to create a table in e.g. Excel and the table will be automatically updated on the website, but we do not use tables enough to warrant the expense at the moment.
