Desktop Publishing Part 1
Overview
Using Microsoft Publisher, and with no previous publishing experience, you'll come away having created a good-looking four-page booklet with text and pictures.
Prerequisites
Microsoft Publisher on your computer, a good knowledge of computer basics and fundamental word processing skills.
Learning Objectives
You'll learn the skills to:
- Create and print publications ranging from a simple single page poster to a multi-page booklet.
- Put text, pictures and borders into place to produce a visually pleasing, easy-read publication.

Desktop Publishing Part 2
Overview
Part 2 builds on the skills learned in Part 1. With the knowledge you learn in Part 2 of this course, and a bit of creativity, you'll be able to produce greeting and invitation cards, newsletters, posters and flyers, calendars, certificates, labels and menus, and create letterheads, as well as a host of other publications.

Desktop Publishing Part 1
Learning Objectives
You'll gain the skills to produce a variety of your very own publications incorporating:
- Text
- Tables
- Decorative Word Art
- Simple to intricate borders, pictures and graphics.
- Use layering and backgrounds
- Bring the whole publication together in a visually pleasing form.
