N.B. Users of Windows XP or Windows Vista cannot get “free” Windows 10

Overview

Windows 10 is here – but is it for you? You may be satisfied with your Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 System.

This course will allow those currently using Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 to learn about the process of “downloading and installing” Windows 10. It will cover many of the main features of this new operating system, and show how it can be tailored to suit the user.

It is not designed to do other than show these features, and is not intended to persuade members to change to Windows 10 if they are happy with their current Windows version. 

Prerequisites

This is not for people who already have Windows 10. It is for existing Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users who do NOT have Windows 10 but are considering installing it.

Learning Objectives

This Upgrade to Windows 10 session will show you how to download and install Windows 10. It will give you an overview of the new Operating System. It covers the main features and shows how it can be tailored to individual needs. On completion, participants will be better placed to decide whether to keep their Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 System or to go ahead and upgrade.
