Social Media Interest Group

Ever wanted to know about Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Periscope, Pinterest, Google +, Whatsapp, Instagram, LinkedIn etc?

Maybe people say you should be using these, or other Social Media sites, but you are unsure. You may feel intimidated or have heard scary stories of I.D. theft or loss of privacy. 

We plan to demystify these Social Media sites with guidance from existing users and Question & Answer sessions to share our experiences.

Held in the SeniorNet Hall at the front of the building at 2 pm on the Third Monday of the month. $5 koha.

The next gathering of SMIG is on Monday 21st March, 2016 at 2.30pm $2 koha. From ist April the time will be 2 pm and the cost $5
