Overview

Backing up data is an important part of good computer practice.  Horror stories abound of people who have lost some or all of their valuable data through failing to have a good backup system in place.  Ideally the backup should be automatic, to a schedule, as in spite of the best intentions we will often forget to initiate a backup manually.

This 2 hour workshop will introduce you to “Karen’s Replicator”.  This free programme was designed by Karen Kenworthy, who passed away in 2011.  It is still available for download from various websites.  I believe this link is reliable:

Note: You may wish to download and install Karen’s Replicator before the class starts, although we will guide you through this at the start of the class. Take care when downloading that you click on one of the correct links. You may be fooled into clicking on other links which may appear and which are just advertising.
