Overview

This is a basic course for people completely new to devices using an Android operating system, such as phones, tablets, and laptops. It starts at the point when you take the device out of the package you brought home from the store. 

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Learning Objectives

• Introduction to the uses of your digital device.
• Turning your digital device on and off, including Flight Mode.
• Using the various touch commands, the keyboard, and other controls.
• Organising the home screens, including the use of widgets. 
• Connecting to a WIFI network.
• Downloading apps (functional software) from the Android app store. 
• Using apps including the Internet browser and the camera.
• Navigating from the screen of one app to the screen of another.
• Changing various operational settings.

Nothing technical is covered and the pace is comfortably slow.
