Overview

This version of Movie Maker is designed for computers running Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8 Operating Systems.

This course will introduce you to the pleasure of editing videos and/or photos to create a movie using Windows Live Movie Maker.

Prerequisites

To take this course you must have:

• Good basic computing skills
• Windows Live Movie Maker on your computer. If not already installed on your computer it is part of Windows Essentials, available as a free download from: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-NZ/windows-live/essentials-home
  
  

Learning Objectives

You will learn to:

• Add videos and/or photos and re-arrange their order.
• Remove unwanted sections of video clips.
• Add a music or voice track.
• Add effects and animations.
• Add titles, text overlay, or credits.
• Finally you will learn the various options for saving your movie, including burning to a DVD to play on any DVD player.
