Overview
Internet Banking is a fast and convenient way to keep up-to-date with, and manage your accounts – all from the comfort of your own home. This workshop aims to give you the chance to look at methods used by various banks, including your own, and see the common features they present. It is principally aimed at those who do not use online banking and possibly have never seen it in operation.
You may bring your own computer or device or use one in the Learning Centre.

Learning Objectives
At the completion of this workshop you will:
- know how to view a variety of internet/online banking sites
- know what can be done by online banking
- have been shown many of the uses of online banking
- have investigated online banking (without registration or making actual tansactions).
What can be done using Internet/Online Banking?
- Make one-off payments to any New Zealand bank account
- Set up your own regular payments (just like automatic payments)
- Transfer funds between your accounts
- View/download your statements and transactions
- Make payments to organisations and saved payees
