Example New Class Page

Use this page as an example for creating a new Class or Workshop page.

METHOD ONE

Step 1. Create a New Page:

  • Dashboard > Pages > New Page > Add a Title > Publish> Publish
  • Click Edit with Elementor
  • The new page opens with the Header and Footer showing.

Step 2. Import the Example New Page Template:

  • In the Widget Area (Drag widget here) Click the Folder (second) icon. This takes you to the Template Library.
  • Find the Example New Class Page template and click Insert.
  • The new page opens with the Header and Footer showing.

Step 3. Follow the instructions below from Step 4 – To edit the new page

METHOD TWO (If Method One doesn’t work)

Step 1. Create a New Page:

  • Dashboard > Pages > New Page > Add a Title > Publish> Publish
  • Click Edit with Elementor

Step 2. Go back to the Dashboard:

  • Open the Example New Class Page:
  • Pages > Example New Class Page > Edit with Elementor
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page
  • Right-click the large + sign in the Widget Area (Drag Widget Here)
  • Click Copy All Content

Step 3. Go back to your newly created page:

  • In the Widget Area (Drag Widget Here): Right-click and choose Paste 

Step 4. To edit the new page:

  • Click the image and the Media Library opens.
  • Choose an image from the Library or upload an image from your own device.

Step 5. To upload an image to the Media Library:

  • Search for an appropriate (free to use) image from Google Images, Pixabay or similar and save it to your device.
  • Edit it to a suitable size and compression (Use the TinyPNG App or similar).

Step 6. Throughout your new page:

  • Click the edit button (blue pencil) or click in the text area of the other sections and edit the content
  • Leave the Please register early… section at the bottom of every class page.
  • Remove this section and any other unused sections
  • Click Update at the bottom of the Text Editor
  • Click the Preview Changes (eye) icon next to the Update button to view your changes. The page will open in a new tab. 
You can use this method to copy any page/section on the website.
Just be careful to check you are editing a copy and not an original page.
