Overview

Have you ever wondered how to use TradeMe to buy or sell?

Prerequisites

Workshop members will need basic computer skills including accessing the web and email.
They should bring with them a digital photo (on a USB Drive or mobile device) of something they would consider selling.
They will not be committed to a sale without their consent!

If they already have a TradeMe account, they should bring the user name and password of that account with them.
If they need to interact with TradeMe, they will need access to their email on line and should have their email user name and password with them.
If they bring their own computer they can access email at SeniorNet.

Learning Objectives

You will learn:

  • How to register a TradeMe account for selling and buying items of every description.
  • How to find what you are looking for on TradeMe
  • How to bid including auto bidding
  • How to purchase an item after successful bids
  • How to describe an item for sale
  • How to choose suitable photographs to enhance your listing for sale
